Archwood Exchange is comprised of 4 entrepreneurs that started their journey while facilitating the marketplace and being surrounded by exceptional people chasing their dreams. Since it's inception, the Archwood team has built 5 successful businesses that occupy 3 brick and mortar locations in downtown Phoenix and employ roughly 20 members of the community.
GRASSROOTZ BOOK STORE & JUICE BAR - Located in the Eastlake Park area of downtown Phoenix, Grassrootz Bookstore has served as a hub for the black community. From reading programming for children, book study groups, open mic nights, food festivals and community gatherings, Grassrootz has become a staple in Phoenix, not just the black community, and will continue to change the face of the city.

STRAW & WOOL HAT SHOP - Established as a part time business within the Buy Black Marketplace, Straw and Wool first took official shape inside the aforementioned Grassrootz book store and cut its chops during the shut down as an online retailer and eventually a brick and mortar. After a brief time in business, the team added it's own brand to it's roster by manufacturing their own designs. In 2 brief years, the Phoenix store has become the premier hat shop in the country with plans to expand in 2023.

STARDUST AND SAGE - Stardust took the same route as Straw by finding it's value beginning at the Buy Black Marketplace selling crystals, candles and smoke smudges. Eventually moving online and finding increasing success then realizing the void in the local market, Stardust acquired it's first physical shop on the storied Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix. At the end of 2022 Stardust & Sage opened its second location in the highly desired Biltmore Mall. With 2 locations, Stardust & Sage is quickly becoming a household name for those looking for spiritual support.

BROWNSTONE SPA - Brownstone Spa is located in downtown Phoenix and has become one of the fastest growing studio spas in the region by providing an unmatched experience and education on skincare. As a licensed esthetician, Stacy saw a scarcity in skin care that specializes in the unique experience and needs for melanated skin. By having a focused yet welcoming client base, word of mouth has propelled Brownstone to expansion in the upcoming year.
